Full-Stack Web Apps with AI

Publishing a mobile app used to mean hiring a native iOS or Android developer, waiting months and spending money you didn't have. With Expo and AI, an indie developer with no mobile background can build a working app in a few weeks, test it on a real device and submit it to both stores. The tricky part is not the code — it is the App Store submission process, which breaks in ways that have nothing to do with what you built. This course covers both.
Eight modules follow a note-taking app built for the course: a simple product with a native feel, local data storage, push notifications and a paywall. Nina Park builds it from the first expo init to the App Store approval email, narrating every prompt she sends to Cursor and every decision about whether to use a library, build the component by hand or skip the feature entirely. The submission module is filmed in real time, including two rejection cycles and the fixes that cleared them.
The course works on a Mac for iOS and on any machine for Android. App Store fees ($99/year for Apple, $25 one-time for Google) are outside its scope but it covers exactly when and how to register. Physical testing on a device is strongly recommended — the emulator is fine for layout but misses performance issues that appear on real hardware. The course supplies device testing instructions for both platforms.
